The Lin Beach House

The Jane Suite, which we stayed in, was not really a suite (which I think of as more than one room). Instead, it was quite large and somewhat charming, but very outdated. There was so much space in the room, but not a lot of places to put things. It would have been nice to have a desk or a dresser or even a luggage rack. Most of the rooms face the street, which is quite noisy. The bathroom, also quite large, was even more outdated. I have never seen a toilet with a pull chain flush before. Also, there was no place to hang towels or put any personal items. Not to mention, that the toilet paper did not have a holder and was up on a shelf that could not be reached from where you sat. Had to improvise and put it in the tub's soap holder. When we went down to get the complimentary coffee,

We were in Greenport for a family wedding and three of our family members chose to stay in The Lin House. What a find! Our rooms were spacious and well Appointed. Comfy beds, pillows, towels, earplugs and goodies in every room. The self-serve kitchen/General Store was fabulous. Make your own espresso and warm up a delicious scone was a genius idea! Honor System to purchase late night munchy pizza and extra beverages. Unique store items. Provided early check in and easy check out. Cons: honestly looks a bit run down from the outside but who cares? Quirky inside decor. We like that! On a busy street-remember, ear plugs provided however! Walk to town is long, but do-able. UBER or drive everywhere else. Would def stay here again!

A wonderful stay at The Lin! I just spent a long weekend here, and it was perfect for a trip with friends, as it had communal rooms to hang out. My room was large, clean, and had adorable vintage furniture. I even had a cute balcony to hang out and have my friends over for wine at sunset. There are three separate community spaces downstairs that were ideal for us to play card games/games before returning to our rooms. The last night the owner happened to walk through the kitchen and offered us some homemade cinnamon rolls she had made earlier that day- and it was probably the best cinnamon roll of my life. The vibes here are 100%. I hope to rent out all the rooms with a group of friends in the future.

Awesome stay! We loved every detail, from our pretty room and common areas, to tasting some Matchbook treats at Aperitivo Hour. We can't wait to book again soon.

We had a fantastic time at The Lin Beach House. It completely exceeded our expectations. The space felt beautifully curated and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The team made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The morning coffee and pastries were a lovely touch, and the bar and lounge were great spots to relax. The location was ideal, an easy walk to town and close to the beach, but still quiet and peaceful. Whether you're looking for a relaxing escape or a stylish place to stay while exploring the North Fork, The Lin is a great choice. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
