Hotel Moraine

We had such a lovely first trip to this hotel (2 rooms booked for a week) and were eagerly looking to re-book. I inquired if any room had a sofa bed for my toddler, as she will not sleep on a pop up cot without a mattress. They informed me the King ADA room had a sofa bed in the room, which was perfect! The next communication was to inform me that to utilize the piece of furniture in the room would be $60/night- so for our 4 night stay- $240 extra to use the sofa bed. I clarified that if my daughter just slept on the couch part there would be no fee, but if the sofa was pulled out to a bed, $240. This is truly absurd. The reasoning was "linens and housekeeping." We snuck away for a little off-season anniversary staycation before the chaos of Thanksgiving and Hotel Moraine made it feel magical. From the moment we arrived, John treated us like old friends. He surprised us with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to celebrate in the room. Such a thoughtful, personal touch. Even though it was off-season, everything felt fully in-season. Complimentary Burgundy wine, overhead heaters on the covered porch with a fire pit, beautifully kept grounds, and a room that was effortlessly luxurious. The soaking tub was heavenly, the vibe was peaceful yet polished, and every part of the stay felt intentional in the best way. Loved our stay at Hotel Moraine. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Always able to recommend a restaurant in town and check if they were open (Holiday times so Google wasn't always accurate). Rooms were spacious and clean with beautiful views and a large soaking tub. I'm sure it's great during the warmer months but was also spectacular to watch the waves role in with snow and a good book on hand during winter. We'll be visiting again no doubt.

We hosted our wedding at Hotel Moraine in Greenport, New York, in September 2025 and rented out the entire venue. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hospitality and attention to detail from the entire team truly blew us away. The property itself is stunning, but what really sets Hotel Moraine apart is the level of service. Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure our families and guests felt welcomed and cared for all weekend. The combination of the hotel’s natural beauty and the exceptional service made our wedding feel incredibly special. I feel confident saying this is the best hotel on the North Fork when you consider both the setting and the experience. What an amazing location and property. While it was chilly and breezy we could the hotel to be just perfect. Very fresh / new and clean with a great modern and classic flair. The room was great, the fireplace was great, the continental breakfast was also just right. We will be back and recommend anyone try out this gem!!
