The Lazy Fish

The location was excellent, with a larger beach than any other resort in the vicinity. We watched the magnificent sunrise right from our bed and from the two Kayaks provided by the owners of the cabin. However, the cabin (#4) needs a lot of work and we've provided the feedback directly to the owners.

Owners Nancy and Tim are wonderful! Nancy was quick with responses to any of my questions. Tim was on the property when we arrived, very friendly and personable. The cleaning staff is also very friendly. They checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed The beach is absolutely amazing. So private and a huge area. The cabins have what you need. I knew they were rustic cabins when I booked it, the photos they have online is very accurate. Besides, I go to the beach to be outside, not inside. Was very happy with our stay there. And couldn’t have asked for better hosts.

Been coming here over 10 years the cottages are rustic but that’s the charm. They do need updating for the price you pay. Bring your own table umbrella! Not included! No shade on deck!

This is our third year of coming to the lazy fish, it's a six hour drive from chicago, but we absolutely love it. Tim and Nancy are the best.❤️

Terrible tiny place. Fits for one person only there is no place to walk with a tiny bed, and very bad customer service. Will never come back here again.
