The Lava Hotel & Spa

Amazing hotel located right in the middle of Lava Hot Springs. Cindy at the FD was very nice and told us all the places to check out once we mentioned it was our first time. The King room is large and came with a full kitchen and great bed. The hotels hot spring is the perfect temperature and a short walk from all the rooms and looks over the river.

Great unique spot for families or couples. We stayed at the end of august in a family room for 5 with the twin over full bunk. I wasn’t sure if it would be one of the tiny houses but it was one of the rooms with the deck facing the main street. But the town was pretty quiet by 9 pm and stayed quiet til 8 am or more. Cooler was a little noisy turning on and off but no worries. Cute older building so the room layout wasn’t super spacious, but met our needs! Comfy beds. Hot spring pool was awesome, such a peaceful location but a little walk down the lane from the actual rooms. Office closes around 8 but they communicated well in advance and gave an easy after hours check in option.

The hotel is located in main downtown so you can walk to everywhere . The room is spacious but kinda dated. The hotel has their own hot pool but we definitely recommend to go to the public hot spring pool. It’s worth it.

A total gem! We stayed for a weekend get away and couldn't have been happier! They were so great about answering any questions or requests we had. We loved that could walk outside and be right in the middle of downtown! Everything is a short walk away.

We’ve stayed at the Lava Hotel (Courtyard View) twice, and will do so again when we get a good rate. They are a very short drive from the main office and convenient to the hot spring pool. The rooms at this location are pretty basic/ no frills. Our room was very clean, although the building and rooms could use some painting/ maintenance. The wall-unit AC drowned out most exterior sounds. Our room had plenty of electrical outlets. No closet, but there were wall hooks that worked for us. Check-in was easy and the staff friendly and helpful. Our room had a small fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker. (We knew to bring our own for the second trip.)
