What a gem this place is! A lot of the sites are paved with cute metal fire bowls. It is right next to a beautiful babbling creek. The bathrooms are CLEAN. The staff is super friendly. But most importantly is the walkability of the town. Each hot springs is a few steps away from the park. Everything is within walking distance. And what a cool town! If you stop by in the winter be sure to fill your tanks since the water is off at the sites. We didn’t pay attention and the maintenance guy came right over and turned our water on so we could fill up. Ok this next part is very important!!! There are TRAINS that pass through and they blare the horn and to me it just adds to the charm of the park and the town. To slam these nice people because of trains driving by is really petty and not right. G

Great find. Lots of amenities. Concrete base wasn’t exactly level but shame since it was installed not ground. Water hook up had sulphur smell. |Location was great. Enjoyed being by creek. Front desk staff great. To be fair I asked about summer and crowds and he was pretty negative. |Up the street at mikes grocery the young man there was hard fast worker. Need to hire that guy! Great walking distance to a lot of sites. |We only stayed one night but great experience |Nice and quiet during spring break|Cabins looked so cute!

Realized after making my reservation that you have to bring your own linens or pay extra. Paid almost 200 dollars. Called to see if I could cancel it the same day and was told it has to be done 14 days in advance. However for California residents it refundable. I feel so cheated! What a horrible way of doing business.

We stayed in the new 2 bedroom cabins. We’ve stayed in the deluxe 1 bedroom cabins before, and in comparison we were pretty disappointed in our experience with the new ones. At the time we booked early summer and up until our stay in July there were no photos up of the cabin, just the floor plan. I called to ask for photos but was told they wouldn’t be able to send me any. I decided to keep the reservation hoping the cabin would be similar to the deluxe ones we had booked in the last. When we arrived I was surprised to see how close the cabins are placed next to each other. There is no barrier between you and your neighbor, and essentially no privacy if both parties are hanging out outside. They do have some plants there and it seems like when those grow that might help with more separatio

I can't tell you anything about this place other than that they wanted to charge us $271 and we had to provide our own linens to stay in a cabin. Which, if you look at the pictures, it sure indicates that they come with linens on the beds. $271! On a Sunday! "Well, lava Hot Springs is a big tourist attraction." That's what he said on the phone. Do yourself a favor and stay at lava Lake Camp on the east side of town. It's delightful and they have these retro trailers that are really nice inside for about $120. Beautiful campground.
