Frandsen Family Lodge

We go here twice a year for a Quilting retreat and love the place. Always clean, and the owner is very accommodating. It's fun to sit out on the porch and watch the deer and the valley from the comfort of the seats infringement of huge bay windows. There's plenty of parking, small town near by and Lava springs to enjoy.

This place is the best kept secret. We have stayed here many times. It is a great place to stay as a family. Everyone is under the same roof but with plenty of space to move around and sleep. I love that there are so bathrooms. The kitchen has so many pans and appliances, a dishwasher. You just want to say, "They have thought of everything." We want to have our family reunion here every year.

This is the second time we have come here for a family reunion, We have tons of room for our family to get together to eat/play games/ect. All of the kids love the pool table and ping pong table and the little kids love the slide outside. It is close to the pool, shopping, and the hot pots. The only thing that isn't the best are the beds, they aren't very comfortable, but we like it here so much that the uncomfortable beds aren't big enough of a deal to take away a star. We will definitely come here again.

The lodge is a family owned home rented out for large gatherings. It sleeps about 35-40 people in beds and has a very large kitchen and gathering room with tables and chairs and room enough to seat 80-100. Construction was started in 2006 and complete fall of 2012. Build by Blaine Frandsen and his 5 sons along with his father inlaw and many others who helped out in countless ways. Being just 3 miles outside of town the lodge makes for a great quiet getaway for family reunions or gatherings of any kind.

We have been coming here every year since about 2006-7 for quilt retreat! We enjoy it so much we reserve it for the next year while we are still here!! 😄
