The Laurie House

The Laurie House is right behind the Chauncey Conference Center, in one corner of the sprawling grounds of the Educational Testing Service (that's right, the folks who brought you the SATs, GREs, and so on). It is in a lovely, quiet setting from the front door, but from the back door the rest of the Conference Center looms over it. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, much more inn-like than hotel-like.||||One checks in at the very modern Conference Center, and that is where the buffet breakfast is served. You might find yourself surrounded by people discussing arcane subjects, or groups getting orientation talks at breakfast. ||||The center of Princeton is a 4-6 mi, 10-15 min drive away (depending on route and traffic), so convenience is not one of the Laurie House's advantages
