Residence Inn by Marriott Princeton at Carnegie Center

I liked this place a lot due to many reasons: - Great location at a mall, with decent dining options in walking distance - Appartment had a good size and was in good condition (in relation to the price of couse) - Relaxed atmosphere - Good Wifi - Quite location - Decent breakfast (again, in relation to the price) The only con was the really loud A/C (just like in most other US-hotels I visited). I prefer this place over the very mediocre Westin or Marriott in Princeton, which pretend to be fancy but are really not.

Room is big with a convertible sofa bed.Staff is always friendly and smiling.Breakfast is great.Definitely would stay here again .

This place is not it, do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. Unfortunately, my husband and I didn’t have much of a choice. We needed a local place to stay with a kitchen because we have a 6 month old baby and were getting our floors redone. First impression: walking in with my baby attached to me and lugging in a pack and play over my head…. Three people at the front desk, just staring at me like I’m crazy. Not one person asked me if I needed help. Do better, Marriott. To rattle off a few things, the internet doesn’t work. DOESN’T WORK! Can’t use your computer, barely use your phone. The rooms are dingy and disgusting. There’s nails sticking out of the carpet, the toilet doesn’t flush and the shower head is completely rusted. The hotel is in a great location. Close to shopping and restaurants. The rooms are ok but lots of details that need attention. Lights not working, shower had some mold and furniture starting to show its age. The breakfast may be the worst I’ve experienced at an extended stay property. Same breakfast every day with absolutely no variety. The juices are warm and the butter and cream cheese are frozen. The front desk staff is the highlight of the hotel, they are very friendly and knowledgeable.

I've stayed here before and it is generally a solid place with decent suite/rooms. I stayed last night and checked out this morning around 6:40am. The gentleman at the counter was very busy watching videos on his cell phone with the volume up like a TV. I approached the desk, and he didn't bother to look up. I was not the only customer in the area as folks were already around the breakfast buffet. I found it odd he was comfortable watching his phone rather than seeing how he could assist guests. I had to stand directly in front of hm, clear my throat and try to get his attention. When I did, he looked at me and gave me a head nod and said nothing. Not "good Morning", not "how can help you?" not "how was your stay?". Guess I was a nuisance to his streaming. I stated I was checking
