The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue

It's great hotel for a family to stay. The kitchen is very good. It can let kind of young family to make some light food cooking for children. Also, It't great location and convince to everywhere.

A delayed review but the service was so fantastic I finally have got round to leaving a review this hotel rightfully deserves! We stayed at the Langham back in November with our 7 month old daughter. Like many have said in their reviews, the service was impeccable and is what really sets this hotel apart. From the front desk staff, the door man, to the concierge, everyone made our stay comfortable and easy. Location is ideal if you plan on mainly walking and using the subway. We did not use a taxi the entire trip and found everything to be ideally located from the hotel. Especially useful given we had our daughter in a pushchair. I stayed here last fall with my mom. My mom and I are both native New Yorkers who have since moved away so coming back and spending a wonderful weekend at the Langham was just what we needed. We stayed in an upgraded suite with floor to ceiling windows throughout the bedroom and the beautiful and spacious bathroom and it was glorious. The service was good. The food was good. The location was good, and I highly recommend this hotel. We took Ubers everywhere but you could easily walk or take the subway. I also liked that there is famous artwork all in the hotel lobby and recreations throughout the rooms and one of those famous artists, Alex Katz’ work was also seen when we visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We love to stay at Langham Hotels and been At this hotel before and chose again to stay and we were so happy we did. || WE loved our one bedroom suite with club lounge and empire state view and it was really worth the extra costs.|| Falling asleep and waking up to the view of an illuminated empire state was truly spectacular. The club lounge was very well furnished, very comfortable and food was exceptional. staff lovely and attentive. Lots of christmas decorations. Even our suite had a christmas tree lit up when we arrived and lots of little extras which makes life so much easier after a long flight. Well this hotel was quite the pleasant surprise! We were able to check in early at noon which was fabulous. We’ve said at other upscale NYC hotels but this check-in was smooth and friendly. The smiles and service was extordinary. Since it was my daughter’s birthday they sent a small cheesecake up to the room which delighted her. We stayed in a junior family suite which was spacious. There was complementary warm apple cider in the lobby. The turndown service was exquisite. They made the couch for my daughter so when we got back in the room at 11 pm, we could just fall asleep. Slippers were out and water was by the bedside. The next morning at breakfast at Ai Fiori they had a Nutella croissant and a candle which was so sweet.
