The Lake Motel

This isn't just a place to lay your head at night; it was a full experience. Location! Park your car all week and walk into town. The owners and staff are professional, kind, and prompt with requests, and they are just Amazing! The facility is beautiful. They are constantly updating, improving, and finding ways to upgrade your experience. Clean. The rooms smell fresh and CLEAN when you walk in. Staff are continually cleaning and tidying the outdoor common areas and are keen on safety. The free nightly activities offered are perfect for anyone, but they have a huge economic impact on a family of five. The money spent was well worth it! We have been a returning client for five years and plan to continue doing so. The only time we went elsewhere was when there was no vacancy for the time we

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lake Motel. Our brief experience (just an overnight) exposed us to families that had been coming for years - we can see why. The rooms were clean and well-appointed; front desk staff professional and personable. The pool area was nice as was the lake access; and it was packed with people having fun and just enjoying the day. Highly recommend

Absolutely loved this place. I only wish we were staying longer. The staff was lovely. Flowers are gorgeous, bedding was great, bathroom spacious….wish I could have used the pool. I may have to come back…I thought this was a once and done vacation, but it’s a lovely area.

We stayed at The Lake Motel for 3 nights as a couple. The room was clean, comfortable and updated. The amenities on the deck were amazing. There were grills, a Blackstone and several gas fire pits. There was a heated pool and a designated swimming area in the lake with a swim platform. Kayak and paddle boards were free for guests. Free coffee was offered in the lobby and there were nightly activities for children. Yes, people were smoking in their balconies, but it’s not as bad as other reviews make it seem. Restaurants, the beach and boat rides are within walking distance. I would 100% recommend The Lake Motel for anyone visiting Lake George.
