The Lake George Inn

The place is run down. Room decor was straight out of the 60’s. Judging from how black the bottom of our feet got I’d say the carpets haven’t been cleaned in years. There was an ice bucket in the room but the ice machine looked like it hadn’t worked in years. Hair dryer didn’t work, the room smelled stale and the curtains wouldn’t stay closed. Only good thing really was the location. Take my advice, pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

|It's a no frills motel, but the location is great, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot.||However, the.carpeting was so filthy that when I got out of the shower and walked to the bed, the bottoms of my feet were turned black! The floor also turned our brand new white socks black! ||Also, the office door was disgustingly dirty with greasy hand and fingerprints smeared all over it. In the bathroom, at the top of the shower stall, the plaster was damaged and there were scuff.marks on the wall and filthy residue. The bathroom door was broken very dirty. The paint on the door to our room (room 10) was very chipped and bubbled.||In addition we were looking forward to the free coffee we were told would be available at 8 AM, but when we went to the office, it was locked and no one was

Lake George Inn is a great place to stay. It is financially reasonable. The help is friendly, kind and they go out of their way to help you. The rooms are very clean and cozy. I would stay there any day of the week. This is one of the best places my wife and I ever stayed.

Positive: Ice maker broken; needed to obtain coffee cups from office but staff never available (there was always a be back in 15 minutes). Negative: Shower would vary in temperature dangerously—cold when some else started a shower and scalding when flushing a toilet in other rooms.

Its 1am and I can't sleep due the ppl above!!!! Loud music, ppl stomping back and forth, talking so loudly, unbelievable!!! Paper thin walls!!!! AC is filled with mold, so we can't even use it!!! Disgusting!!! Sink is clogged!!! Everything is old and cheep!!! Not worth a stay, ever!!! Don't waste ur money!!!
