The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort

I checked in around 6pm on a Friday night, the front desk staff is super friendly and amazing. I noticed that the grounds are really pretty and well kept and the lobby area was really grand and beautifu. I got to the room and immediately changed and went to the main pool area. The pool area was cleaned and well maintained. When I got back to the room I changed and got ready for dinner, we had dinner at the restaurant on site (Echo) which I will get to later. When we got back to the room and really looked for the first time we noticed how dirty it was. There was hair all over the bathroom. All over the sink like where a man had shaved, all in the tub just everywhere and I get it, its a hotel and impossible to get all of the hair. January 2026 -We went to the King and Prince Resort for a special anniversary. We travelled quite a distance, and it was a disappointing experience. The lobby, patio, and grounds are beautiful. If only the rooms were as well....The rooms were crowded and unclean. We had to lay towels all over the bathroom floor, because the floor was so sticky. Zip, zip zip! Had to kill some creepy bug, and the bathtub was so grey/brown from dirt, we only took showers. We did request housekeeping, but they 'forgot' us. The front desk was dismissive. There was so much huge furniture in the room that there was only room for one suitcase. I repeatedly had to slide my suitcase under a large antique table, pulling it out each time I needed to open it. Couldn't leave it open due to the bugs. The mattress was so

View and pool were fantastic! The beds were a bit high and will be trouble for someone with mobility issues. No microwave in room and we were unable to request one. Overall the hotel was gorgeous, location was fabulous, and front desk employees were very friendly. Beach has the softest sand.

The rooms aren’t bad. They seem a little thrown together. Some stains and some dirt but fine other than that. Food is great but the bartender with the dark slicked back hair isn’t kind or attentive. My mom and I waited at the bar for 15 minutes after we tried waving him down several times. Made eye contact with us but didn’t care to come over. After my mom finally was able to speak to him, asking for dinner menus and drinks he basically waved us off and walked away. Turns out he went to the restroom which we found out after we were walking out

The place is in need of some serious updating. It's sad that they let the room slip so much. Mold in the bathrooms barely any of the sockets for electricity work. The furniture is dated. The sad thing is, the location is spectacular. I booked directly with the hotel and should have looked around because I could have gotten a price two hundred dollars plus less on hotels dot com for the same two nights. The safe is literally on the floor for a senior citizen.Such as myself, it's very hard to bend over to use the safe.
