The Inn by Sea Island

My wife is very good at finding a very nice hotel or inn to stay at for as couple of days away. Excellent Inn/hotel with very comfortable beds, linens, towels, hot breakfast in a quiet and good location. Makes up for the times at Hampton Inns with their skinny towels. Group golf packages are available through their other local resorts. Full bar with snacks. Alex, a good bartended who recommended a couple of restaurants. Raichelle was very helpful at the breakfast buffet was also helpful.

Lovely hotel, very clean and quiet. Breakfast was usual for the 3 star property: eggs, sausage, bagels, yogurt, juices. Mostly processed foods, but a bit better than average. However, the design touches and aesthetics were between 3 and 4 stars. The pool was sparkly clean and very pleasant with sufficient lounges, umbrellas and towels. The courtyard yard made you feel like you are in Mediterranean. Bottled water was available at the reception and gym areas. Our room was always clean and fresh when we returned. I would definitely stay here again.

Bring your own pillows if you must stay here! About to check out after two night here. The property is very pretty. However, we were not able to sleep. The mattress is probably the most uncomfortable mattress we have ever encountered. The pillows are way too high, made even higher by the mattress that just sinks in. Woke up to loud thumping that went on for over an hour. Sounded like either a treadmill or a dryer. It was horrible and almost drove us crazy. If you are getting the resort pass to access the Cloister and Beach Club and plan on using the shuttle to get there, know that it can take up to 30 mins for shuttle to arrive after you request it. Also, keep in mind that while the Cloister and Beach Club are gorgeous properties, the service at the restaurants (and most of the food) leave

I recently visited St. Simons with a group of friends on a golf vacation. Several had stayed at other Sea Island properties and we decided to try The Inn. Everyone agrees - we will be back! The Inn itself is delightful in every way, and the staff makes it extraordinary. From Maica at the front desk, who patiently and deliberately met our every request, to Raichelle, who made sure breakfast was beyond our expectations, to Billy and Alex, the mixologists in the cozy, tucked-away bar, we were well cared for at every turn. As with all great organizations, excellence starts at the top. Carissa Clark manages The Inn with a warm blend of professionalism and hospitality - and she seems to always be on property. We loved our stay - and we will all be returning.

Great location, ample parking, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Great breakfast choices, the employees were very efficient and courteous. The room was spacious, and there was a great shower head. Nice pool area. Overall, an excellent stay.
