Hampton Inn St. Simons Island

Can’t go wrong here. Central location, spacious and updated rooms with 2 sinks and modern cozy feel. Even plantation shutters for a nice touch. Friendly staff and spotless. I will be back!

Everything was great at this Hampton Inn! The rooms were clean and the staff was excellent! Only thing, the shower head in our bathroom did not work properly 😒 The water just dropped. If you tried to change the settings, the water just continued to drizzle out. No spray, no pressure.

Positive: The staff was amazing. Especially Hotel employee ! So kind. Even drove me to JAX when I could not find other transportation. A gem and an asset to your hotel. Negative: No restaurant.

Good, central location, for our needs. Rooms seemed clean but the baby powder deoderizer was a little overwhelming. Showers were amazing, with perfect water pressure, and unlimited hot water. Love the complete darkness, with the combination of the shutters and drapes. Only negative, are the maids, outside our room, starting at 8:30. They were loud and uncaring that they disturbed guests.

When I checked into the hotel, I was hopeful. The lobby was nice, the staff were attentive and polite and everything seemed fine at first. Unfortunately, my stay didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The room was standard in size but seemed to be a bit dated. The bathroom…where do I begin. Rusted handles, chipped paint and cracked tiles in the tub. Although it seemed to be cleaned. Certain corners of the room could have been cleaned better. I also requested to have my room cleaned every day because apparently a Hilton standard is cleaning the room every other day and unfortunately my request was not upheld which caused an inconvenience regarding trash and towels. Speaking of inconvenience, the toilet was constantly having issues flushing. Maintenance eventually had to be called. Which
