Saint Simons Inn By The Lighthouse

Beds were a little hard for my husband and myself but the lady at the desk was so wonderful and tried to find mattress toppers to make them better for us. Breakfast was strictly continental but sufficient to hold us over, we try not to eat carbs and that was the only option. Coffee machine was great and available any time. We would definitely stay here again, maybe ask for a different room, but we had our dog with us and the rooms are very limited for pets. They said different rooms have different beds.

We have stayed at this property numerous times. My wife probably more than 30 times. Location is great. Walking distance to the village, pier and many great restaurants. Our room this time (110) was not as great as others we have had. Very small bathroom area. Partially our fault as we picked this one as the others we like were unavailable. Rates are great this time of year. Staff is awesome especially Monet and Tasha at the front desk. Housekeeping staff is always super friendly. We come to SSI at least once a year and will stay at the Inn again for sure. Just not in 110.

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay on St Simons Island! A pretty, walkable block from the center of the Pier Village, it is just across the street from the beach and lighthouse - quiet and convenient. We loved our trip and stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! I mean… all the staff! We met our mom here because it had easy access to restaurants, the pier and restaurants. She can’t travel far and loves the ocean. We loved being able to walk to shops, a public beach and restaurants… and feeling safe. The drive to things was super easy for my mom. The manager is amazing making you feel welcome and asks for feedback to improve. The most amazing/fun/refreshing thing is that every room is different. We can’t wait to visit again soon!!

On the plus side the Inn is convenient to most everything in downtown. The staff were all very pleasant from the front desk to the housekeeper.|The rooms are all individually owned so each room is set up as the owner decides. We were in #106. This room is in dire need of an update. The mattress was a marshmallow, the worst I’ve slept in ever. The tile floor has major cracks and chunks missing. The area rugs are old and frayed. The furnishings old thrift store items. The continental breakfast was cold cereal and Winn-Dixie muffins.
