The Kimberly Hotel

We stayed two nights right before Christmas and absolutely LOVED this hotel! It's well worth spending a little more $$ for all the extra room you get. We had two Luxury One Bedroom - King suites on the 17th floor. My husband and I stayed in one and my son, his girlfriend and my daughter stayed in the other. I felt like we had our own little apartment. The kitchenette was a big plus! It even had real plates and silverware which came in handy with a take out pizza. The staff was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. Location was great too! We will definitely be back!!

The Kimberly is a beautiful, well run, and clean boutique size hotel in a lovely, quiet location in Manhattan. I must compliment the entire staff I interacted with. Not just polite and competent, but genuinely friendly. That was also true of the other guests I spoke to in elevators, restaurants and lobby-just an unusual experience for NYC. |I received an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite and was shocked at how large it was. The bathroom had heated floors, lots of extra personal items provided, quality soaps, shampoos, and lotions. There was plenty of closet space and hangers. A super comfortable bed with a lovely comforter. |I had brunch at the restaurant on the main floor-Bistango. Great food and service. The hotel also offered complimentary coffee and pastries at the rooftop restaurant which

We have stayed at the Kimberly many times. We love staying in the suites with the two easy chairs, a couch, a table to sit at, etc. It’s great having two separate rooms. The beds are comfortable and we’ve always slept well at this hotel. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, from doormen to front desk to waiters. One of the waiters at breakfast is super friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is very good and has a nice omelette station. They serve free pastries and coffee up in the Penthouse in the afternoon. We like that it’s not right in the heart of midtown as it is not too crowded or noisy and it’s an easy walk to the theaters. If you want to see a movie, the Angelika 123 theater is nearby. We highly recommend the Kimberly.

The hotel staff is amazing; attentive, caring, and went above and beyond! Every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful. We were treated like we were the only guests in the hotel. Arian and Denise in the Lounge upstairs were extremely accommodating and efficient at breakfast service. The rooms, especially the suites, were nicely decorated and very roomy. Cleaning staff would return each day and made their cleaning schedule convenient for us. Our room was cleaned every day (thoroughly) in spite of our irregular schedule! I highly recommend this hotel (and its location is a bonus)! We will definitely be returning.
