The Kimball at Temple Square

We were very impressed with our stay at the Kimball. The front desk was very kind and helpful and saw a need our family had and quickly helped without complaint. So impressed with the hospitality (It was a woman with blond shorter hair)!! The rooms were very clean and the hotel is right next to the SLC conference little theater where we were able to watch The Savior of the World Play. Very convenient location to anything Temple Square related in SLC. We want to come back again next year!! Thank you!!

Positive: Comfortable and quiet quiet and safe. Negative: The surprise surprise a $100 deposit and nervous disposition of the 1st Desk attendant. It was unsettling. The next morning, the 2nd Women was very pleasent and gave me my deposit back.

Excellent location to Temple Square and literally right across the street from the new LDS Conference Center. Not sure you can do better than this location for the price. |It’s old and there doesn’t seem to be any interest in updating it - we have been coming here for years and the looks and smells don’t change. But it is clean and we enjoy the location when we come in for an annual family trip.

For years now, going on thirty years, we've stayed at a timeshare we own at the Kimball for several weeks each fall. We come to Salt Lake City each fall to do research at the Family History Library which is just a block and a half or so from the Kimball, so the Kimball location is ideal for us. Above and beyond location, we've always found the staff at the Kimball very courteous, helpful, and friendly. We deal with them by phone to set our weeks each year, and then deal with them in person when we're staying at the Kimball, and they couldn't be nicer. The rooms aren't luxurious, but they're comfortable and almost always quiet. The kitchenette is a real convenience for those who cook and eat in their rooms, as we do for at least most meals.
