The Kent Hotel

Very well placed , old hotel who was for sure very nice few decades ago , bad smells and very very noisy !!! Impossible to sleep without ear buds because of the loud and old Ac but most of all , the sounds goes thru the ceiling and the side walls with children's running , jumping and crying all time !!! Had to go the counter many times in order to ask for lowering the noise at night and in the morning from 6,30 /7.00 am....) View on a service door with people smoking in front of our room first floor ! Special Mention to Josh , the night guy at he counter who was very professional, very kind , helpful, and full of effective advices. Avoid the restaurant beside/in the hotel ......2 beers and 2 burgers for 90 dollars.....unbelievable !!!

Positive: We had to find another hotel quickly because the one we were staying at AC broke. I called and talked to hotel employee and he was amazing and even let us check in early. All of the staff was amazing. Negative: Only two people in the elevator at once but it wasn't a game changer.

Had a great experience right as we walked in. All the staff are so nice and welcoming. Anthony the manager gave us a great restaurant recommendations and Josh was very friendly and helpful especially with recommendations and helping with valet. It was in a great location, so many great spots within walking distance. Will definitely be back next time we visit Miami.

Very nice room. Staff was amazing and had great recommendations on places to go for food and night life. The hotel was located next to everything. And great price for the amount of days we were here. And the vibes of the Kent were absolutely beautiful.

Excellent location on Collins Avenue.  You are right by Ocean Drive with restaurants and bars on your doorstep.  A charming Art Deco gem located in the heart of Miami Beach's vibrant South Beach neighbourhood.  I booked a Deluxe Double Queen room.  Huge, spacious room. Very clean.  Staff were very friendly and pleasant.  Really helpful, they would always greet you.  As a solo female traveller, I felt safe here.  I didn't eat at the hotel but they have a restaurant and bar on site.  Good WIFI access throughout the property.  Housekeeping was done well each day. Lovely boutique hotel. Highly recommend.  I would stay here again if I came back to Miami.
