The Inn At Clinton

Somewhat difficult to get out of the parking lot and head into downtown. Basic room, but comfortable. Have stayed here many times as local options are limited. Ran out of hot water while showering during this last visit.

Positive: It was spacious. The rooms also spacious and smelled clean. the King bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet while we were there. Negative: Take note that this 2-story hotel does Not have an elevator so interior stairs access only. Also, breakfast hot items limited, prepared eggs and sausage, although waffles, also available if desired. Packs of grits also available if you want to cook them.

This has been our home away from home for several years and Nicki Tucker Front Desk Managers has always been the best. She is always pleasant and accommodating, she is the reason we keep coming back. She still believe in providing customers with respect and kindness.

We were hesitant to stay here because of previous reviews, but we liked the price and were just passing through town, so we gambled.||The room was clean and spacious and contrary to other reviews we read from earlier in the year, there was no odor in the hallways or in the room. I repeat: No Odors!||The hotel was bright and welcoming. ||The staff was attentive and friendly.||We did not eat the complimentary breakfast for a few reasons: There was no space. The dining area can only seat three small families comfortably. The food was all sweet carbohydrates on this particular morning. The coffee seemed like it came from a pot that needed cleaning. It was hard to get around the room.

The Inn, Clinton, North Carolina I stayed there from the first of February to the fifth and I did not expect much, since it was not a chain place and the price alone suggested that mercy would be in short supply, though even with expectations set that low it still found ways to disappoint that felt practiced rather than incidental. The walls were thin as scripture pages and every sound passed through them unimpeded so that at night I lay awake listening to strangers breathe and move and speak inches from my head, listening to lives I had no part in and no protection from, and there was no bottled water in the room, only the tap, and the vending machines offered Pepsi as though no other choice had ever existed or ever would, while in the halls and the rooms beyond there lingered a faint s
