Rosewood Motel

Owner price gauges, is discriminatory and rude. He allows for loud music and people to be loud at late hrs th. Room was dirty and dusty. Room smelled like smoke and it was a no smoking room. Bed was missing sheets. There was barely any hot water in showers. Mini fridge smelled of rotten food.

Been here for about a month and a half for work. I haven't seen any roaches or bugs of any kind. The owner seems to do everything his self. He mows, does house cleaning, and does the front office. I noticed how people complained about the TVs being old. They work. I also noticed people complaining about the beds. They are not that bad. Its SUPER quiet. Theres no one outside banging on doors theres no car horns or speakers bumping at midnight.

Horrible judgemental owners. Stayed one night, had one friend come over for about 20 minutes and I was told to leave because he doesnt like . No wonder the place is so cheap. Old creaky beds, horrible air conditioners, HORRIBLE shower heads. No bead bolts on ANY front door. Not very safe. And the cockroaches make my skin crawl.

While trying to get to Myrtle Beach from Virginia we got stuck in the after effects of Hurricane Florence. All of the roads were closed due to flooding and there was no way out in either direction. We called all of the hotels and motels near by and all of them were booked. Finally we saw the Rosewood Motel on google and decided to give it a shot before we had to sleep in our cars. Thankfully he answered and let us know there was one more room available that night. We drove over to the Rosewood and the owner was very nice. Gave us our key and even let our dog stay even though it was a no pet motel. The room was very nice and clean and didn’t have noisy neighbors. For a cheap place this is a five star motel.

Looks quaint but just good old fashioned crappy. Room was falling apart, non-smoking smelled like smoke, bed missing top sheet (no help at the front desk), and microwave broken. That one star is for the picnic table. I liked that picnic table.
