The Inn Above Town Creek

So bad first, ||Dirt parking lot so if it rains like it did for us it becomes a giant sandy muddy mucky mess.||trash and old rotting fruit in the parking lot.||all units have motion sensor lights that once on stay on for 15 min and shine inside the windows.||parking lot is lit by at least 5 extremely bright LED spotlights that shine directly in windows and light up entire unit. there are no curtains of any kind only blinds so there is no way to block out light. Good luck sleeping at all. Wife and I were furious about this and weren't able to get a single full night's rest. ||Units are right off the main street so expect engine noise and occasional loud music. ||Shower would not drain it would back up to ankle depth for entire shower and very long curly black hair would begin to crawl out o

We were incredibly disappointed that we did not receive any kind of breakfast or credit towards our stay since they were unable to provide it. Any other hotel or bed and breakfast would have credited us $20-30 or given us vouchers at a near by coffee shop or breakfast establishment.

For the record, most of the reviews I read about the Inn on the Creek were on point, up to a point. Whether a review was good, bad or indifferent, there was a bit of truth in it. With that said, anyone with any history of using B & B's knows it can be a crap shoot at times. Here is my reaction to the place, make of it what you will. ||||First, let's get the bad news out of the way. As some pointed out, it is not a bed and breakfast, if your understanding of B & B is "breakfast included." Having used other properties that were billed as B&B's without supplying breakfast, I was not terribly disappointed about the lack of breakfast. If there a zero star, I would used that in a heart beat. ||My husband in anticipating that we going to have a great stay but didn’t quite turn out right what we want. The overall amenities is great but the stay at the b&b ruin it all. The bed wasn’t made when we check -in. So, we have to wait till the maid is called. The room was not cooling and so the fan is squeaking all night long. We didn’t have hot showers and the floors had some hazards areas and is not safe to roam around. Not even want to go to the kitchen- it’s a joke and not worth paying for that kind of prices. Seriously not coming back and spend the time here. It’s not worth it, choose other places if I were you. Last thing the bed is a sorry state that had me to put this review here.

Choosing a B&B is always a "hit or miss", and this one is definitely a "miss". Last year, we had a "hit", but it was full this year, so we picked this one - the Admiral Suite. There are photos online, so I knew going in that the accommodations were small (even though they always use the lens that distorts and makes the room look bigger). But, having never stayed in such cramped quarters, I just didn't realize how annoying and uncomfortable it would be.|| ||The bathroom, of course, was just a joke.
