The Hut at the Bluff LLC

Spent 5 nights tent camping here with a group of buddies for a Panther Swamp hunting trip. The price was cheap, the site was safe, and the hospitality was unmatched. If you are looking to tent camp, be warned there is no plumbing. We had a couple of bucket toilets and a camp shower and we were set. The owner did provide an extension cord and hose from his house that was all we needed. Bring extra extension cords and splitters if you have a big group. He set us up near an old house on his property and we were able to use the car port for a common area which turned out to be a really nice place to chill after hunting 12 hours. Mr Steven, the owner, did everything he could to help us during our stay - even let us borrow a cajun cooker to boil water for a hot shower. There isn't really a bet

Highly recommend! Tent friendly as well as camper/rv friendly with full hook ups. We tent camped here twice for the 2025-2026 hunting season. Power and water supplied but no utilities so to speak of (bring a bucket toilet and a camp shower if you’re tent camping) The place is very clean, quiet and safe. Plenty of room for trailers, atvs and boats if needed. Mr. Stephen is a great host, very attentive and always willing to help if anything is needed. Treats each guest like family and has a wealth of knowledge about the area and its wildlife. I’m looking forward to my next trip out there. I have stayed here for two trips this winter and it is a great spot. Close to panther swamp and the host is great. Highly recommend and will be back soon. If you are tent camping, there is no bathroom currently so come prepared.

We enjoyed our stay at this great campground. It is a very clean place with everything to make your camping experience the best. The owners treated us like family and if we ever needed anything they were always helpful. We felt safe and secure here as if we were at home and shall always cherish our memories at this great campground.

Very nice quiet place to stay. Owner is very nice. Would definitely stay here again in the future for work. Great location for hunting as well
