The Hotel Laurel at Seneca Lake

Great retro accommodations. Fantastic view of Seneca Lake. Check-in and check-out was fast and completed via text message. Bathroom was well appointed, bed (King) was comfortable. Very convenient to downtown Watkins Glen by car. Really neat place! We look forward to our next stay.

I would love to give this place more stars, because the view was very nice and the bed was comfortable also the location was very convenient. Unfortunately, the bathroom was super small and there was no exhaust. It did have mini fridge and microwave but I think for the fact that I paid over 200 a night and stayed 3 nights things could have been better. Another thing was we went to the restaurant to have a drink at the bar and there was no one in sight so we didn't end up dining there. I would say that it was average with some improvements it would otherwise be a nice place to stay,. As far as cleanliness it was good.

Wonderful place to stay while exploring wine trails. You won’t hear the road noise too much. The view from a terrace is awesome. The staff are very friendly and unobtrusive.

If nothing else, this place gets 4 stars for the stunning view and location. I would stay here again just for that. Above that, the rooms were clean and the area was quiet and felt safe. I liked the Halloween decorations. The restaurant was decent but there are a lot of food options not far up the road if you want something else. The only issue I encountered is you only get one parking space per unit and there is only one parking space per unit so if someone parks in your space, you don't have a place to park. You have to park at the lobby and walk all the way down to your unit. It doesn't sound too bad unless it is dark, raining, cold, and you are exhausted from hiking. This happened to us both nights and we heard our neighbors honking and yelling at someone else too. The hotel needs to

A little old fashioned roadside motel (that has undergone some renovations) with rooms giving a beautiful view of Seneca Lake. It is not fancy by any means, but if you’re looking for a spot to rest your head for a night or two it works. ||Rooms are small but clean & comfy & an affordable price. Staff very pleasant.
