Madison Guest House

Great location! Great host and communication. My niece and grandniece decided on a last minute trip to Watkins Glen. Travis was gracious and accommodating. We each had our own room (but joked about sharing the one big room as a “slumber party” for one evening:) The rooms were clean and comfortable. Travis and Ashley provided continental breakfast items to start us off (bagels, yogurt, juice, creamer, coffee, tea). There were enough plates, cups, utensils, pots, and pans. The WiFi worked well Prior to arrival, Travis answered all of my questions and provided us with helpful local information. You can easily walk throughout Watkins Glen from this location. There are rental properties on each side of you and you are one street back from the Main Street. As you can see from the picture, there

Just returned from a trip to Watkins Glen and stayed at the Madison Guest House. Great experience. Owner is very nice, friendly and responsive. The location is great a with a 2 block walk to the hiking trails. Easy downtown rock. Parking was easy. Property is nice with everything you need. Could not have been happier with our stay. I highly recommend this property and the owner.

The Madison Guest House has everything you need for a stay in Watkins Glen! plenty of sleeping space, and room to be comfortable. We stayed here twice and arrived to breakfast essentials in the fridge each time! As far as location, it can't be beat! Less than a 5 minute drive from Watkins Glen State Park and even closer to tons of cute little resturants, ice cream shops, and a donut place! If we ever get lucky enough to return to Watkins Glen, this is 100% where we will stay! Thanks for being such a great host, Travis!!

I stayed here with my partner for a long weekend towards the end of October and it was a lovely place to stay. The location is right off the main strip in Watkins Glen. We did a wine tour through Experience Finger Lakes, which picked us up at the hotel in town (about a 5-10 minute walk from the Madison Guest House), which we loved too. Travis keeps the house very clean and was even kind enough to leave us a few fresh things in the fridge for our stay (creamer, OJ, etc.). There's a washer and dryer on premise, which is helpful if you're doing a longer stay. The Watkins Glen state park was only a 10 minute walk away which has a few shorter, easier hikes as well. Watkins Glen was a bit quiet as we went after the season was over so I can't comment what it's like during the peak spring/summer

The Madison house was lovely... we truly enjoyed our stay! Our host ,Travis, made sure we had all of the essentials , including breakfast!... the location is perfect, a quick walk or a short drive to literally everything you could want.. hiking , kayaking, great food great drinks etc.. the town of Watkins Glen has a little bit of everything and the people are so hospitable, we look forward to visiting again!!!
