The Hostel

Great location and amazing staff! The hotel is in a perfect location, only 2 minutes to the gondola. And the staff truly made our stay special. When we had car issues, they were incredibly helpful and did their absolute best to assist us, especially Evan and Ivan. Really appreciate their kindness and effort. Would definitely stay again!

Positive: Leaving..... the view was great when we left. Most miserable night I've ever spent in a motel/hostel Negative: Bed was terrible, a/c unit was loud and less than sufficient, room was cramped, lighting was minimal, and all that led to a miserable night.... which in turn ruined the next day.

Our 4th time staying at The Hostel, *this is not your typical hostel" glad to see the rooms were upgraded, of course with a steep price increase, our 1st stay yrs ago was $99 a night. No tv's.. nice king size comfy beds, small bathroom, shower only. Very clean. Lobby has coffee & downstairs is a game room, tv, unlimited ice. coolers maybe available near ice machine if you need one, check with front desk, plenty sitting around. Staff is very friendly. Great location to the village and park. Mangy Moose brewery complex is around the corner, breakfast was excellent in lower level of Mangy Moose. It's a big complex. We would stay there again if in the area,

The hostel offers a basic accommodation in an excellent location with a vibrant common space and friendly staff. It’s nothing fancy, but the perfect place to stay for someone who is looking to ski all day and just needs a comfortable bed to crash in at night at a relatively reasonable price given the location. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m at Jackson Hole!

I really enjoyed my time at the Hostel, and those who have left not so great reviews should have stayed at one of the various other establishments in the area for a higher price due to their apparent needs. The rooms are cozy, clean, and warm. Yes, the walls are paper thin but at that time of my stay (off season) it was reasonably quiet during sleeping hours which is all that matters in my opinion. I did not go experience the common areas, as I was feeling reclusive and was just needing some private time to myself, however the amenities provided are very thoughtful and authentic. Staff was helpful and kind. I highly recommend the Hostel for those needing a simple, clean, and affordable lodging option while in the area.
