The Historic Lyric Cincinnati

I recently stayed in the Presidential Suite at The Historic Lyric Cincinnati, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The suite feels more like a luxury downtown residence than a typical hotel room. The layout is spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a full kitchen, generous living area, and plenty of natural light that gives the entire space an open, elevated feel. The finishes are modern and clean, yet the building’s historic character adds a subtle sense of charm you don’t often find in newer properties. The historic lyric penthouse was everything my husband and I were hoping for! We stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect for a quick getaway trip. Everything we needed was within walking distance including Sotto which is a 5 star restaurant nearby. The host Josh was accommodating and let us know the refrigerator went out the day before and they couldn't get LG there in time to repair it. He had a mini fridge in the room before we even arrived that was spacious and fit all of our groceries. The entire penthouse was gorgeous and comfortable with extra amenities we appreciated! We felt safe, were able to fully unwind, and truly enjoy ourselves during our stay. We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend you check it out too!

Booked for my birthday on Jan 25th, the snowstorm hit and we were snowed in. Missed flights and everything and The Lyric refused to allow for a refund. Poor experience all around :(

I almost don't want to write a review because this place is such a gem I'd like to be able to stay without worry of availability. It is gorgeous, first of all. Second, parking was very easy and there is an alleyway leading right to the building. The location is exceptionally walkable. My wife and I stayed here as a ten year anniversary staycation. We had the top floor penthouse. It is absolutely stunning. The entire place is well decorated, the entire environment screams modern luxury and comfort. The kitchen is fit for a five star restaurant. The spiral staircase leading to the roof is an amazing functional yet beautiful fixture. It was the perfect location to spend our night and we will be coming back, many times.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lyric! The historic building is full of charm, with cool features that really set it apart. The amenities were fantastic, and nothing was overlooked. The bed and furniture were super comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay.
