The Historic Leakey Inn

Check in was easy and enough parking, it’s very central to a gas station and small grocery store as well as family dollar. Although it was cold my girls swam for 30 minutes in the pool which was clean. The coffee machine didn’t heat the water well so we used the microwave for water. Clean beds, although the beds were terrible on our backs. Quiet sleep the 1st night, although the second night was not great as it was super windy and whatever the roof is made of…you could heat everything fall on it :-(. Average stay.

What a great little inn. We were in the area to drive the twisted sisters. We originally planned to stay one night. The cabin was nice, the bed was amazing. I would have liked to have had a comfortable chair to sit in. There were two chairs, but more they were like desk or dining chairs. The pool was fantastic. The weather was hot for October and we loved that the pool was still open. We enjoyed our 1st night enough that we ended up staying 2 nights. The restaurant & bar were good. The staff were very friendly. Love staying at a family owned inn.

Great location, clean cabin with a lovely atmosphere inside and out! I was sorry to miss the restaurant and shop. The outside pool and chairs were perfect. What an awesome place!

Answer your phone or return voicemails! I guess the owners, Hayden & Dallas, don’t need guests anymore. I have stayed at this hotel a hand full of times in the last 7 years and have never had an issue getting someone on the phone or someone calling me back after leaving a message to reserve a room. I have called this hotel now 8 times in the last 6 days and left several messages. Dallas answered my first call and said she was out and would call me right back as soon as she got back to the hotel. She never did. Then after the 7th time calling and leaving another message she called me right back and told me they have been on vacation and it has been hectic. She said she would have her son check on the availability and let me know if there was one available. That was 3 days ago on a Friday af

Had a great stay. Room was clean and comfortable. They have a restaurant and bar patio area, on Friday night a live band, it seems like a cool place to hang out and socialize. Staff was very friendly.
