Frio Buckhorn RV Park and Resort

We have been at the Buckhorn for 4 months now and couldn't be happier with where we are. The Buckhorn has great ice cold beer and a wine selection, a pool table, darts, air hockey, ping pong, putt-putt, volleyball, a playground and a pool!!! They have an amazing dancehall with live music every Saturday night and everyones favorite, karoke every Tuesday. The place is quiet, clean, the neighbors are friendly, and it is also kid and pet friendly. The staff is amazing, Bri the manager runs everything smoothly and efficiently!! Our original plan was to stay 2-3 months, but we are now staying at least 1 year. Last thing, all utilities are included. 10/10 recommend staying here!!!

Bar kinda boring beer price decent but not the coldest. Went on a Saturday night and it was like no one was there. Other places on Leakey got it going on Saturday nights. Brought our entire crew to them. Maybe try again but other places seem to be liked more by nice locals we ran in to.

Love this place! We came by AFTER the kitchen closed & they were kind enough to open back up for us! We also did not know that the bar closed at 8pm… we came by at 8:14… Bree stayed open until we were ready to leave with no hesitation! The service, food & atmosphere was fantastic! Will definitely be back!!!

Very nice sites for your RV. Recently changed ownership so will look forward to seeing what changes occur. The staff was friendly and greeted us warmly. We parked our travel trailer in space 25. Nice close to level. Large with plenty of space for slide outs to be open. If planning to use the parks shower facilities they are usuable but leave a lot to be desired. I think the previous owners almost put them together as a last minute after thought. Thankfully we didn't need to use them but would have survived if we would have had to. Maybe the new owners will decide to upgrade them which probably would mean just starting from scratch with a new shower house. The bar and grill were not open during our visit as the new owners are doing the licensing for selling beer and wine. Family's

Excellent place. RV spots are very nice. Public showers are very clean and nice. The staff are simply amazing. So very accommodating. The bar is great and the food was very good. We will definitely be back!!
