The Heidi Motel

We had the best experience ever in Heidi Motel! Was my first time in Helen, Ga with my family and the stay there made my vacations epic! It’s so beautiful and you have everything crossing the street so you will not need to use the car. The customer service was awesome, Michelle Smith is amazing. She is so sweet and friendly. Her service is exceptional and was always available to help us!. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Recommended 💯!

Positive: First the positives, super great communication, right on the main street, and a fairly quiet location, non smoking rooms and did not see any bugs Negative: The bed sheets had hair and stain all over them.The sheets microfiber. Dirty shower, 10 cleaning fee per night, $15 hottub cleaning fee and a setup fee, daily pet fee, $15 additional cleaning fee for kitchen. $25 cleaning fee for pet.

The negatives: 1)Hotel is located on a very steep hill so you either have to drive it or walk it to get back and forth to you room. 2) Beds were terribly uncomfortable. One queen bed was soft and slanted really bad the other was hard like a board. 3) The bed sheets had hair and stain all over them almost like they were not changed from the last guests stay. 4) The sheets are not cotton and super thin like microfiber polythene mess. 5) Coffee dripping all down fridge 6) Sticky counters 7) Dirty shower 8) many incidental charges 10 cleaning fee per night, $15 hottub cleaning fee and a setup fee, daily pet fee, $15 additional cleaning fee if you ha

Lovely room, very clean and nicely furnished. Easy check in process even though we booked less than 24 hours ahead. Only downside was that the restaurant/bar opposite played VERY loud music until 11pm at night and it kept us awake. That’s the only reason for the lower rating on location. Otherwise it was really close to everything.

The room was rustic but very clean and the beds were super comfy. The hotel was close to everything and Betty’s was across the street which was a bonus. Also Dog gone coffee next door which was delicious. The only strange thing was digital check in, when you arrive there is no office you call a number and they text you info. On getting in the room. But I would stay again when I return to the area.
