Was here on a business stay, be prepared to be paying the room coverage which is quoted at 100$ per day, the payment is complete and they don’t provide you with a receipt or any proof of purchase even after I asked for it multiple times , and the manager came as well and they still didn’t provide me with the payment confirmation even though they hold the money. First time encountering this. While staying at the hotel you must use you’re room card to get in after 11 pm. The Room: The Room was rather well sized but it was on the side of where all the fans of the hotel were buzzing making it a very loud at night and hard to sleep . I wore ear plugs literally. The bathroom is very small, and the shower water wasn’t as hot as expected it’s just nice temperature but doesn’t get boiling. The Tv
Disappointing. I paid £1200 for the room and flights and then another £250 in city tax after, they claim it's for amenities in the hotel but it is poor, I only used the WiFi for the short time I was in the hotel and was out most of the day. The best thing about this hotel is the location, it's right next to the empire state building, Macy's and not far from times square.....quiet also as I was on the 9th floor where some reviews say the lowers floors are noisy. Towels were not all replaced as requested some days and toilet roll ran out so needed to ask for it. One guy on the desk was very helpful and good to talk to and ask questions about places to go (young guy with the beard), the others not so much. I never stay in the same place twice, I've been to New York a few times now and this
The Gregorian was AWESOME!! I took my daughter for her 18th birthday and it couldn’t have been better. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city- we walked everywhere! Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff was exceptional- very helpful. Edgar, in guest services, helped us with so much- taxis, water, anything we needed- with a genuine smile and great attitude. We will stay here next time we come. So happy to have found this sweet boutique hotel!
Positive: Great hotel, walkable to all parts of NYC south of Central Park, about a 20 minute walk from the MoMA. Close to the excellent food of Koreatown. Clean, spacious, nice staff. Negative: They have soap and shampoo pumps instead of small bottles, and when we arrived they were all empty. It took until the next day to fix. Small thing, maybe an extra bar of soap in the bathroom alongside the pumps?
Great spot to stay! The Staff were all lovely and helpful. We stayed during a big snow storm and ended up staying an extra night. Location is perfect - highly recommend dinner across the street at Cho Dang Gol and get the Spicy Galbi Jjim - absolutely incredible. Easy access to the subway and far enough away from time square to avoid the tourist hustle. The rooms are well planned. No coffee maker in room but that’s what you’ll find in most hotels here and they’ve got a coffee shop right next door you.
