The Getty Suites

We stayed for 6 nights in January.While the reception room left us feeling like we might have made a mistake in booking this hotel, our room was really nice- clean decorated in an almost European style with a full refrigerator, microwave, two plate hot plate, coffee maker and toaster plus dinner ware (though only for 4) and a block and a half walk to the beach and brick board walk . The beach is one of the most beautiful we have seen and we travel a lot. On the top of the building there is a great "deck" for sunning and quiet time. There is no view of the beach because of all the multi story hotels that surround this little motel. But is still has a nice view and the deck is clean ad comfortable.This is mid Miami beach and the trolley stop is near by. There is a mall grocery store and seve

I never posted negative reviews, but this place deserves it. Be aware of fake 5 star reviews. It’s not a hotel, it is dormitory. Absolutely unacceptable for vacation in Miami Beach. Rooms are ok, but much smaller than shown on official website pictures. Building is squeezed between other 2 with no view from rooms at all. Oh, I’m sorry, there is a terrific dirty construction view from the rooms. Be prepared to handle any issues (lot of) yourself since there is no one at the front desk from 7pm till 11am and all communications with hotel staff (if any) are by text messages. We arrived at 9pm and escaped next morning to another hotel nearby. If you don’t want to ruin your Miami vacation, please don’t even think to book this place regardless of promos. Stayed here acouple years back. I am looking to go back to Miami and will rebook with Getty Suites again. It's very good pricing and the room was clean and tidy. The white walls and leafy pictures give such an airy light feeling to the room. The room size is on the smaller side but if you're someone that wants to be out on the beach and exploring and not inside much anyways then its perfect! Staff was friendly and location is great. Starbucks right around the corner so you can grab an iced coffee and breakfast in the morning, Plus not far from beach and restaurants.

This is a Apartment that was converted to “suite” rooms. We had a a room with kitchenette and queen size bed. Room was small, but clean. No lobby, or amenities. They have an office to check in. Location was good, couple blocks down from all the restaurants and across the street from the beach. This is a no frills place, if you’re basically looking for a nice clean room for a day or two, for the price it’s decent. (Less than $100 on booking.com) You have to park on the street, $3.00 an hour, max you can pay is 3 hours at a time, or across the street was Valet parking for $43.00. They do offer free WiFi.

I cannot say it was the worst experience staying at the hotel, but it also wasn’t the best one. Advantages: 1. Close distance to the beach. 2. Kitchen utensils. You can cook everything just there. 3. Kind of nice interior. 4. Almost the cheapest price for the room in the same area. 5. They allowed us to leave our luggage there for a couple of hours after checking-out. So we had a chance to go to the beach one more time before leaving Florida. Disadvantages 1. Dirty towels, dirty things (the remote control was super sticky and had someone’s eyelashes on it). 2. The roof was leaking when it was raining! 3. Insects in the bathroom. 4. The elevator stopped working after the thunder, and they never repaired it. We had to use stairs, and one of the floors was super wet for the whole week we wer
