Wish we had read reviews before booking. Rooms were ...... Interesting. Dirty. Walls covered in yellow liquid stains... Air conditioning broken. Lobby is approximately 80 degrees with the heat pumping to keep you out of it. Bunk beds were hardly stable. Basically just sheets on the bed. The door to the room closed but you could still see into the room completely through a large crack. They will not answer the phones and the lines are all disconnected. One line worked but we called it while in the lobby and the phone didn't ring. Location is very convenient!
Positive: The location was excellent, Negative: They charged us to upgrade our room and then gave us a room that was clearly in the middle of being renovated. The walls had holes, not in a good condition, and the elevators dinging all night was awful.
Great location! This hotel was located inwalking distance of everything. However, please do not expect five star service or amenities. The hot water wasn't working one not and the astetics of the building needs upgrading. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The overnight security guard was ex The actual rooms are not that bad but they're not great either. The carpet in the hall should be removed immediatly because not only does it look bad, it also has a smell. Overall this was an affordable hotel to be in walking distance of everything like Times Square, Fith Ave, Radio City Music Hall, and Rockafeller, the smell and cold showers wern't that bad.
I paid around $620 for a 3-night stay at what is advertised as a 4-star hotel in New York. Upon arrival, I was shocked by the condition of the room, it looked outdated, poorly maintained, and not at the level you would expect for this price category. The overall aesthetic and cleanliness were far from 4-star standards. In the bathroom, there were small flies coming from the drain area. The grout and silicone along the tiles were visibly dirty and deteriorating. There was buildup and staining in the corners, suggesting long-term lack of proper deep cleaning. Around the air conditioning unit, the wall was cracked, poorly patched and visibly damaged. Exposed, uneven surfaces and deteriorating paint made the room look neglected and unsafe. The electrical outlets were loose and broken, with pl
I just wanted to add a reasonable review here. I was terrified I mad e a mistake booking it after reading all the terrible reviews. I do want to clarify that I think I have lower standard than some. This hotel was the cheapest price by far and if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep for a few nights it’s perfect. Yes the rooms are small, yes it’s dated and a bit neglected but the fact is, it provided a comfortable place in the heart of Times Square for up to crash between our outings. The staff was incredibly friendly and the location can’t be beat
