The Flats

We stayed here one night before heading to RMNP. The room was nice and everything was in working order. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. All the booking and communication was done online, they just text you the code to get in. No problems with that. There is no parking at the hotel so I was worried, two hour limits on weekdays for street parking. We were there on a weekend so it worked for us. You do hear street noise, especially if you face the main street, which is a busy 4 lanes. Great location, you can walk to all the downtown restaurants and bars. We would stay again.

Great little place to stay close to downtown! The design of the room was cute and the bed was comfortable! Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely place to stay. Great value, accommodations, and location. Mulberry street is noise, but you can hear a pin drop in Fort Collins at night. The room we stayed in was very large with all the amenities. Much better then a hotel, more like a European experience, chill, and real. You get the door code just prior to check in, no worries. Go South to Rainbow Cafe for breakfast or to Alley Cat for Coffee.

We stayed here for our 18th wedding anniversary and the place was just ok at best. I felt like the pictures were deceiving with only having a few rooms shown. I thought we would have a couch to sit on as all the picture available show couches. We only had a smallish bench against a window. The window was so thin and drafty it was bone chilling and also it was not enjoyable to sit on the bench as you could not lean back. The bed was not comfortable to sit on because of how much you sunk in but was comfortable to sleep on. We ended up just sitting on the floor most the time and this is where we discovered housekeeping has not been cleaning or even looking under the bed as we found a beer cans and one flip flop from a previous guest. We cleaned under the bed ourselves because it was just gros

We spent 2 nights at The Flats. The room was nice, and has potential here are few things to consider. 1. not sure about the cleanliness. It seemed clean, but there was a dirty washcloth hanging in the shower. 2. The room never gets dark. There is a lot of light from the street lights (needs room darkening shades), mini fridge with glass door shines bright, thermostat is illuminated. 3. Lots of traffic noise, and you can hear footsteps from upstairs.
