The Duke's House

The owners of this establishment have absolutely raised the bar on TDY accommodations around the Ft. Bragg area. The place was clean, well thought out, and tastefully decorated. The back yard is beautiful and having refrigerators and a full kitchen with dishes made it feel like home. Quiet neighborhood with privacy and convenient to base, food, and other amenities. If you are TDY at Bragg and long for a home cooked meal, clean house, and some privacy this is the spot. I hear they are installing a library this spring too!

A year ago I was staying at a hotel at the beginning of a long TDY in the Fayetteville/Ft. Bragg area and was miserable after a week of just having a hotel room with a poor excuse for a kitchenette to go to at the end of the day. Thankfully one of the owners reached out and introduced me to The Dukes House. I was a little apprehensive at first because it sounded too good to be true. After I toured the place, I was moving in the next day. You can't beat the amenities of having a house to stay in when you're away from your own house for an extended period of time. Having a full kitchen stocked with utensils allowed me to cook the way I want. There's a comfortable couch to relax on while enjoying complimentary beer from the kegerator while watching HDTV or utilizing the internet. Much better

Everything about this house was perfect for my TDY. I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Doug was on point with whatever was needed and otherwise you were left to focus on your work with minimal distractions.

Top notch location, easy drive to work, camaraderie with fellow house mates...what's not to love. Leave your mark with a bottle of high class booze whilst enjoying the free keg!

I may be biased, but the place is fantastic! If you are in the know, this is absolutely the best place to stay for long term TDY in the Fort Bragg area.
