The Diplomat Beach Resort

The Diplomat Resort is a beautiful, well-maintained property. The staff located at the front entrance were friendly and welcoming with smiles on their faces and warm dispositions.The site is perfect whether traveling solo or on a family vacation with children. There are spaces for adults to have a quiet place to relax and unwind, as well as areas for families to enjoy themselves comfortably. The pool attendant who greeted me and provided my day-pass bracelet, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the resort and what it had to offer. The place is very easy to find, its just in a beautiful area. the check in time is 3p and checkout 11am. (other options available must be rearrange in advance). we stayed at the 1-bedroom condo (265) very convenient, bc' we were by the stairs. it was easy to park and get to the patio and the beach. the condo is huge, the kitchen enormous, it one of the best places that i stayed including the Hyatt Residence in Dorado PR. what i like the most is the view front and the 2-AC systems. The staff is very nice and cordial. ||Loved: Publix and CVS is like 1/4 of a mile from the condo. ; beach chairs, beach umbrella included, beach towels available.|Note: the bathroom is small (really small); the AC are noisy but good; wifi not great; no restaurants near by. ||*my observation: after 121 countrie

Stayed here 4 nights from December 24th until December 28th. The resort is located in a prime location, and the beach is very accessible and close by. There aren't many amenities close by, except a Publix supermarket that fortunately has very good, but expensive food. The unit that you get is individually owned, and I was very pleased with mine as it had a fully functional kitchen, TV with Netflix, lounging chair etc. During my stay, I had a great time, but no housekeeping was done at all, and as a result, I had to take out my trash a few times. Also no shampoo was provided, and I think that should be included at this price point. Overall, I would return!

Construction noise starts as early as 7 a.m., making it difficult to relax. Although the location is beautiful, the infinity pool and two other pools are closed, forcing all guests into a single pool area that is overcrowded with little to no seating available. The hot tub is also closed. Parking is extremely inconvenient due to the ongoing construction. Despite advertising resort-style amenities, many are unavailable, yet an exorbitant resort fee is still charged. Overall, the experience does not match the price, and I would not recommend staying here until construction is complete and amenities are fully restored.

My parents found this little treasure about 10 years ago and we all have been back many times. The Diplomat Beach Resort is our favorite Florida vacation spot. Very clean (rooms, pool, area), very kind staff, beautiful beach. It’s great that the condos have beach chairs you can use on the beach and you can get beach towels at the office.
