Sea Club I Beach Resort

My wife and I have stayed at the Sea Club several times, the location is outstanding on the Gulf beaches of Longboat Key, Florida. It is across the street from Bayfront public park. While the rooms are somewhat dated, some have been modernized. Some do have a view of the water. The service is excellent, Lisa at the front desk is superb at her job, always friendly, and very willing to share any information on the surrounding areas and if there’s a problem with your unit, it is handled immediately. I can’t say enough about the excellent service at Sea Club.

This is a clean ,quaint and simple lodging facility that reminds me of older Route 66 motels .. this one happens to be on the gulf coast with its own beach ..||Very few amenities there is a nice warm pool and direct access to the Gulf of Mexico .. they do not have daily maid service and will exchange towels daily if needed..|There is a guest laundry .. bar b que cabana .. some units have balconies and or patios for privacy .. the unit I had was compact clean and had neither a patio or balcony .. |the bath is tiny .. as in while sitting on John one can brush teach and soak feet in tiny tub shower..|Main complaint is unit was so dark .. best light is in bathroom .. no bedside lamps no over the table light ..one torche light ..in far corner .. just weird..|Not sure worth the 250 or so per ni

Absolutely Disgusting – Avoid Room 20 at All Costs! I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Seaclub1 Resort – Room 20 was so bad, I feel obligated to warn others. From the moment we walked in, the room reeked of mildew and neglect. It was immediately clear that basic cleaning had been completely ignored. Dust was caked onto surfaces like it had never been wiped not just overlooked, but never touched. The air conditioning vents were surrounded by black mold, making it difficult to breathe and honestly a serious health concern. The bed linens were stained and looked like they hadn't been changed in weeks, if not longer. I wouldn't be surprised if they were just remade from the last guest without even washing. The worst part? I woke up covered in bug bites, likely from bed bugs. Compl

We love Sea Club 1! This is our 4th visit and most definitely not our last. Unit 21 had everything we needed and the location cannot be beat! The pool is great, laundry is easy and accessible, management is phenomenal, and the view is stellar. My only complaint is that the bathroom in unit 21 could have been cleaner, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us and our two kids.

This was our first stay here but we agreed it won’t be the last. Great cozy place only steps from the beach. Our room was perfect for us. Food and shopping are only minutes away in either direction. They have everything for you, grills, beach chairs, beach cart, broom and vacuum in room for sand and you can see the pool, beach and sunset from every room. Unloading/loading your vehicle is so easy since you can park right outside your door. We are already planning our next visit. Thank you, Sea Club!
