The Davis Downtown San Diego

Great location and spacious rooms! The hotel has a beautiful ambiance to it. Definitely worth a stay. I also love how they provide lockers to Store your stuff for people traveling and flying in early arriving before check-in, was very convenient.

This place was DARLING! For a single person needing a room for a few nights, it was perfect. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, I didn't want to get out. The check-in/check-out process was easy and straight forward. The rain-shower head was incredible. It was nice to have a fridge in the room, and a microwave downstairs with access to water, coffee, and tea. I would recommend this location and stay here again.

I stayed for a weekend here over Valentines Day. The room was a lot smaller than it seems in photos - ended up only being enough space for the bed plus the bathroom. It was really clean and they had complimentary coffee, water, and earplugs. The shower took forever to get warm, but stayed warm once it did and is spacious, although there is no closing shower door, so water got all over the floor. The shower in my room had the rainfall spout and a small attachment with stronger water pressure. I was in room 107 and didn’t have any issues with noise once inside the room. The area is a bit sketchy with lots of homeless people around, but my partner and I walked around at night a few nights and weren’t uncomfortable. No parking on site, but there is a parking lot a block away that cost me $20 f

Clean rooms at a great location for a low price. This is a 126 year old building that offers a no frills stay that's perfect if you just need an affordable option. They email you your code and that gets you in to the lobby and your unit. Maid service costs extra. The good: * Price * Location * Adorable lobby & rooftop deck * Coffee & tea station * Responsive staff * Cleanliness The bad: * No parking * Small rooms * Street noise
