The Crystal Inn

We stayed here over the long weekend and we had a good experience! Clearly dated but quite neat and clean nonetheless. We had a minor issue with the bedding in the room upon arrival but as soon as we brought it to the attention of the staff the owner herself immediately came to rectify it and was very, very kind. Unfortunately, if internet is something you require I might reconsider staying here as the wifi did not work at all throughout the entirety of our stay. We did bring it to the attention of the staff and they did what they could to try and fix it but it just didn’t work out. Apparently it works better on the opposite side of the inn as there are two different routers, but I’m not sure how true that is. ||||It’s in a great location! Overall it was good, and I would definitely consider returning in the future. Our room came with a jacuzzi, which is nice. Bus stop nearby. Free parking, fridge/microwave/32" TV. Fairly clean. The room was quite dated though. The A/C didn't work well though and it's opening allowed noise through. The caulking near the jacuzzi needed cleaning/replacement. And the buses only run until 5:30 or so, where as Lundy Lane motels go longer. But, it is the cheapest hotel with a half decent rating, so not bad for a cheap stay.

Great value for money. Booked this one for a last-minute visit to the Falls and got a great rate. Staff reached out to confirm arrival time, explained how to get the key (since we were arriving late after close of office hours) and was extremely friendly. Check-out was smooth (less than 20 seconds). Room was clean and the facilities were as described. Highly recommended.

This hotel is pretty basic and in need of updating. The rooms were clean and kept us warm since it was below freezing at night when we stayed. There is no breakfast, so you will need to find a place to eat breakfast. You do get free internet and free parking. It was a little noisy and I could hear a lot of traffic from the street at night. Close enough to the Falls. We had a rental car so there was no problem. The price was pretty good, but I would probably stay at a different place next time.

I stayed here for three nights on a recent mini-vacation to the area, visiting the Falls and doing some hiking at other places. The location was perfect and the price was very good. I don't need a lot of extra stuff so this was exactly what I was looking for: a clean room with a comfortable bed at a reasonable price. It also had a microwave oven, a fridge, and electric fireplace in the room I had. It was a little over 2 km to the Rainbow Bridge, so I walked on the one day I spent the entire day at the Falls.
