The Cove Motel

Our first time on the Cape and the Cove Motel was the perfect introduction! We would absolutely come back, especially if we got a waterfront room again. It was clean and comfortable, the staff was super friendly (we received multiple texts checking in to see if the staff could do anything throughout our stay, which I found very hospitable), and even in the off-season the grounds were beautiful. There’s a great view of the water and a nice waterfront area set up to enjoy it. I’d feel comfortable calling this spot a hidden gem! My only note for fellow travelers: unless we were just missing it, the TV in our room didn’t seem to have access to streaming, so bring something like a Chromecast if you want to have anything more than cable. We were only in the room for a couple hours a day anyway,

Absolutely perfect! We have been coming to the Cove for more years than we can count. The office staff is exceptional- friendly, helpful, appreciative. The room is always clean and quiet. We try to always get room 21 for special occasions. The location is walking distance to downtown and many stores and restaurants. The view is wonderful. We will return again and again!

We absolutely loved staying here. The room was large, pretty, and clean. We slept well. We never heard any noise from the other rooms even though the place was full. We had the pool to ourselves most times. There were lots of great, well-priced restaurants within walking distance and some good shopping too. We were never more than a 10-minute drive from a beach whether we wanted the cape side or the ocean. They even give you free postcards and mail them for you! I sincerely hope that we will get to return someday.

Spacious, clean, comfortable. We checked in on a cold winter day and our room was WARM. So appreciated. Lots of good restaurants nearby and good things to do.
