Skaket Beach Motel

If only all roadside motels were like this! I’d read the reviews and had hoped for a good stay. I was not disappointed. We were greeted with hospitality which lasted throughout our four night stay. Our modern room was impeccably clean and finished to a very good standard. Breakfast was a simple cereal and freshly baked muffins (the cranberry ones are amazing!) but provided with charm and more hospitality. Yes, the office is slightly dated and there were a few imperfections around the grounds but the warmth of your hosts and the super clean rooms mean I cannot give less than an excellent review. Thank you for a truly delightful stay.

Awesome!!!! Came here tonight on business and arrived past 10pm and I was scared that the office was closed and they left me a note stuck on the door with my room number on it and that it was ready and prepared for me and my crew and the room was just amazing. Very very clean, extra sheets microwave, fridge and all. Everything was brand new. Will DEFINITELY stay here every time I’m this way and they accommodated my 36 foot box truck. Thank you. Rubén M

It was very clean. Couldn't hear traffic. Near a busy road. Had a nice breakfast of muffins and coffee and juice in the lobby every morning. Bought their mugs. The staff was very friendly, and it was close to everything. My husband and I drove from Boston to Orleans for two nights, it was very nice. Would reccommend!

The Skaket Beach Motel has been owned and operated by the same family since 2006. They have done a great job of renovating the facility. Renovations include windows, flooring, HVAC, and bathrooms. Wi-Fi is included in rental charge. Our room was clean and we had a visit from housekeeping each day, which is becoming rare in any lodging below the luxury level. Our bathroom was newer and better than those we've encountered in most chain hotels. The room had a mini-fridge and a microwave, features that we've come to expect as standard. The grounds of the motel are nicely landscaped. Pets are allowed outside of peak summer season. Easy to find. Pride of ownership evident in every aspect. Yes, it's a motel built years ago but rooms are clean and roomy; no carpet; simple continental breakfast with juice, muffins, cereal and coffee. Seems like a spot that gets repeat visitors and I see why.
