Wonderful one-night stay! Experience started off great with the friendly Deanna at the front desk. We booked through Chase’s “The Edit,” and she thoroughly explained our hotel credits and presented some delicious macarons and sparkling wine. We showed before noon and she still got us straight into our room after upgrading us to a Bungalow. The greenery is breathtaking throughout the courtyard, including their blooming birds of paradise! The Le Labo amenities are a wonderful touch. Very cute aesthetic, feeling nostalgic rather than dated. Great water pressure. Only mild disappointment were the bath towels, nice size but rough and not terribly absorbent. Despite being so near the pool and outdoor walkways, we never noticed any noise or neighbors. Poolside service was attentive and friendly

This hotel is amazing! I highly recommend. The Service, Rooms and Restaurant was over the top. This is our second time staying at the hotel. They give you a glass of champagne upon check in, they carry all of your luggage to your room and then engrave a lovely plaque on your door. The restaurant is 5 Star and the food, service and drinks are top notch. The pool area is lovely and the hotel is adults only, so the pool is nice and quiet. This hotel is perfect for a romantic getaway or a girls trip. I brought my mom and both of my sisters and we did not leave the property. The rooms are beautiful, new and clean and the bathrooms are spacious and luxurious. The have a well stocked mini bar with drinks and snacks. Lovely Nepresso Coffee Maker.

Extremely Disappointed - Overcharged and Lack of Proper Service. We had high hopes for our stay, especially since this was meant to be our honeymoon. We even called and emailed ahead to let the hotel know, hoping for a special touch or at the very least a warm acknowledgment. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there were no notes on file—our call/email had clearly been disregarded. Things only got worse from there. We were overcharged multiple times during and after our stay, and when we brought it to the staff’s attention, we were assured it would be corrected. Instead of seeing a refund, we were charged even more. Each attempt to resolve the issue seemed to result in a new billing error. It felt like no one really knew what was going on, and we were constantly chasing answers. The Colony

We were excited to try this hotel based on the reviews. Tl;dr - it was okay but we likely won't go back. For the price, there are nicer options - perhaps with a trade-off on walkability. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel and I'm shocked that AMEX classified this as a Fine Hotel and Resort. Rooms - 2/5 - The bed was comfortable enough and I liked the Le Labo products - The furniture was cheap and the room was not in good condition - there were scuff marks on the walls, scratches on the door etc. - The bathroom was not great - the walls were not skim coated before the wallpaper was applied so the wallpaper was uneven and the seams were showing. The sconces were hung entirely too high. The shower had really dirty grout and some cracks in the tile. - As others have noted, the rooms are qu

Just got back from a birthday weekend (Sunday-Tuesday) stay through Amex's fine hotel program. The common areas of the hotel are absolutely beautifully decorated. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The property is in a perfect location with easy access to downtown. Our first night, we were getting into bed when we found dried blood spots on the sheets, we called the front desk and they came to take pictures and brought new bedding, he was apologetic and i understand these things happen. I was most looking forward to our afternoon massage. I love spas and have been to quite a few over the years.. The spa was extremely disappointing, there were no amenities (no steam, no sauna in the spa) the robes were thin and very small, with only one size of slippers. Unfortunate
