The Colony Hotel

Our stay at the Colony hotel was nothing short of fabulous, starting from the pre check-in phone call to the gorgeous hotel itself and to the service we received during our stay. My daughter and I came here for a short trip to celebrate her birthday and we were blown away. The hotel is gorgeous - every little detail is so thoughtfully curated and on-brand. The service was top notch and everyone was so friendly. I lucked out on a great rate for the two twin room and I was so surprised by how spacious it actually was. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. We enjoyed dinner at Swifty's, the pool area and the coffee shop. We also had a wonderful day at the beach where they will set you up with umbrellas and chairs and even bring you lunch and drinks out on the beach. I'm planning my return

I went for a brief trip to celebrate one of my favorite philanthropies so I did not have a chance to sample all of the Hotel's features (for example, I did not get to go to the off-site gym). However, I can report that this grand resort epitomizes old Florida IMO and I liked its warmth and intimacy better than the grandeur of its primary competitor, The Breakers. The service is wonderful. All of the staff are friendly and call you by name. The turndown service is wonderful and they give you an interesting card about the history and an exceptionally tasty sweet macaron form Laduree. My room was quite small and fully priced, but you could not have a better location - just one block from the Beach and Worth Avenue. The staff is truly fantastic. A huge shoutout to Phillip and Eduardo at the front desk, who make every guest feel genuinely welcome and special. Phillip is pure Palm Royale energy, glamorous, warm, and attentive, treating everyone like a VIP morning, noon, and night. He feels more like the hotel’s social director than a front desk associate. Eduardo is equally special, thoughtful, and professional, and we appreciated everything he did for us. Miss Bernadette, Director of Housekeeping, is another standout whose warmth and work ethic make a stay truly memorable. The beach staff is wonderful as well, always friendly and upbeat. Thank you for a perfect weekend. We will definitely be back.

Our four-day stay at The Colony Hotel in November for my mom’s 70th birthday was, without question, one of the most special and memorable weekends we’ve ever had. Truly—more meaningful than trips to Europe or NYC. There is just something magical about this place, and the people make it unforgettable. The staff at The Colony are absolutely unmatched. Fern went above and beyond to help me secure very special restaurant reservations, making the entire weekend seamless and stress-free. Juliza was extraordinary with my three-year-old daughter—bringing her special toys, always making a point to speak to her, and doing so with such genuine warmth and care. I absolutely love this spot. The Colony’s Hotel free bingo night is such a fun night, it’s a perfect girl’s night out! You get to snack on delicious appetizers while playing, and there is always the excitement of possibly winning a gift card or a bottle of wine. The vibe is lively, social, and effortlessly chic. And in the charm of this historic, iconic hotel, you’ve got the Perfect Pink Piece of Paradise. Equal parts classic and playful-I highly recommend!
