The Chatwal - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

We stayed at the Chatwal NYC last night while in the city to see the fabulous play & Juliet. My husband and I are seasoned travelers and have been in many luxury hotels during our vacations . We both agreed that the Chatwal was absolutely one of the most luxurious hotels we have ever stayed in. Possibly the best! ||We stayed in The Directors Suite. The room was huge by any standards, not just NYC standards. The feel was very art deco with lots of mirrors and sparkly tiles. The bathroom floors lit up like a bright starry night. The toilet in the main bathroom was a mini bidet with a heated toilet seat. I took pictures because now I want one in my home!||The staff was extremely friendly, especially Esse (spelling?). We had a fantastic stay at The Chatwal Hotel. The service was truly outstanding — every staff member we encountered was incredibly warm, professional, and welcoming. A special thank-you to Michael at the front door, who was always so friendly and helpful, and to the gentleman who assisted us with check-in (we regret not asking for his name). The hotel learned that my friend and I were celebrating our birthday together, and they thoughtfully surprised us with a bottle of champagne, a generous charcuterie platter with ham and cheese, and fresh fruit. Our stay at the hotel was great. The hotel is beautiful and it benefits from a great location. The room was really comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious and spotless. Service was beyond fantastic. Everyone was really, really nice and willing to help us with everything. The only "but" was the restaurant. Although breakfast was very good (fresh orange juice!), dinner was not so good. There were not many dishes to choose from, and the ones we ordered were very small and very expensive. Quality-price relationship was not good at all!

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The level of attention to detail was incredible even having a butler who ironed our dresses made us feel genuinely cared for. Here, you truly get what you pay for. Our suite was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful retreat after long days in the city. Exceptional hospitality and luxury in the midst of busy times square. I did not think Chatwal could exceed my expectations as I was upgraded to a suite on my last stay (my sister's bday) but I was upgraded again! It was my 60th bday so particularly special. I was seeing a show with my cousins from the Philippines so they got to come by preshow to also enjoy the birthday treats. I saw another show with my sister the next day and we just hung out in the beautiful hotel suite. Thank you for the incredible and memorable experience.
