The Central Block Motel

A great little motel! Everything is done through the web, so there is little to no interaction with any in-person staff member. They give you a code to get into the room and the common area once you sign the agreements online. Common area had a coffee maker, ice machine and microwave. The rooms are very up to date and perfect for a quick place to stay in. Unfortunately, there is no fridge or microwave in the room, so make sure you only get items that won’t go bad; not a big enough issue though. Overall, a solid 9/10, would stay again! (Would be a 10 if there was at least a mini fridge).

Having lived in Central Oregon for over a decade, I've experienced nearly every hotel in the area and was eager to check out the newest establishment. My travels across the United States have led me to a wide variety of hotels, from the questionable to the quite respectable. Yet, this particular hotel surpasses them all in excellence—I'm already planning my next stay at The Central Block Motel.||For me, direct outdoor access from my room is non-negotiable when selecting hotels or motels. Welcoming and inviting when we pulled up. The newly renovated exterior is stunning and a Bend vibe for sure. We weren’t sure if the room would be as great as advertised but it was gorgeous. The craftsmanship and design that went into each room is outstanding.

It was a quiet, quaint little room. Ms Ali did an amazing job when we had a small issue on the first 2 rooms we were out in bc housekeeping hadn't made it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Could use a microwave, and maybe a small eating table. Other than that we would come back!!

We visited Bend for a show at the Tower Theater- terrific venue. The Central Block Motel felt very new; was super clean, and comfortable, but be prepared for very minimalist decor. It was fall festival weekend and the motel is close to downtown but far enough away to be nice and quiet. Will definitely stay there again.
