On a weekday, this place has no crowd! No problem finding parking and no queue at all getting on any chairlift. Lift tickets are Rfid enabled and no technical glitch at all. Chairlift operators are attentive and did slow down for our landing as requested. We love that this resort has a pretty long run for one of the green line.
Top notch ski resort. Bachelor offers some of the best riding experiences around. The mountain itself is a ton of fun, and the resort is ran very well. Their amenities are basic but offer everything you need. Super fun and laid back environment!
Had such a great time at Mount Bachelor! We got lucky with fresh snowfall — perfect conditions. Found my favorite runs that I want to do again when I am back. Would love to see a few more food options up there, but the bar at West Village Lodge totally made up for it — super friendly staff and great vibe. Definitely going back one day.
From the moment you arrive, Mt. Bachelor feels full of life so many cars, people waking up early to enjoy an active Sunday, and families spending the day together. The scenery is beautiful, and the weather was perfect: a sunny, cold day where you bundle up at first, but once you start moving, you warm up and start shedding layers. It’s a place for all levels. I saw first-timers taking lessons and learning, groups practicing, families with kids, and also much more experienced people. What really caught my attention was seeing different skiing styles and equipment some moving almost like skating, others smoothly gliding, each with their own technique. I was also surprised to learn that people come from faraway places, some arriving in their RVs, and staying overnight in the parking lot so
so i did not ski, but i got to enjoy the company of the staff at the rock bar, the wait staff as well. having been here in the summer, the mtn looks totally different in the winter... extremely beautiful. i did how ever snow mobile near by, down Cascade lake hwy- that was a blast. but if you're visiting bachelor- allow your self allot of time to go there. as conditions get slick.. with one fatality already on century drive. leave early, to get there early. there is paid parking, pass parking, an free open parking- this could be five or six rows behind the paid or pass parking. but huge parking lot-can be slick. the have rv parking with hook-ups. check out the website for that info. no lights on mtn for night skiing.. with the cost of tickets you would think they would put lights on some ru
