The Casselman Motel

The Casselman Motel provides a comfortable, clean room at a great price. The room is spacious with a large bed, seating area and work space. A microwave and coffee maker are provided. Food is available a short walk to the Casselman Inn, and it is fantastic. You won’t have all the amenities of a large chain brand, but you won’t need it. The staff here is excellent. Deep Creek Lake, Finzel Swamp, Frostburg State University and Cumberland are all within a reasonable distance.

We stayed in the motel it was clean and comfortable. Everything worked as it should and the people are very nice. The restaurant in the inn is very good and the food and price was great.

The setting was nice and service good. The room - not as clean as we would like.

Basic room, but always impeccably clean, decent bed. Check in is quick and easy. Close to route 68.

I had one of the remodeled rooms which was nicely furnished and squeaky clean but with two problems. There were no plugs anywhere near the bed for my CPAP machine. None of my extension cords was long enough. I finally had to rearrange the furniture. The other problem was the internet or the lack of it. It ranged from pathetic to non-existent. Very frustrating. I did like the door to my room being next to my car. Chairs on the outside would have been nice. The price was VERY reasonable.
