The Candler Hotel Atlanta, Curio Collection by Hilton

My family and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel from start to finish. The property itself is beautiful, clean, and incredibly comfortable, but what truly stood out was the exceptional valet service. Huge shout out to the concierge team: Mr. Jermaine M., Mr. Darboe, Mr. JD, Mr. Kevin C., and Mr. Avery C. From the moment we arrived, the valet team greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism. They were prompt, efficient, and handled our vehicle with great care. Every time I needed my car, it was ready quickly—no long waits, no confusion, just seamless service. Their friendliness and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued as a guest. Stayed here with my mom and aunt to do Scott Antique. A real disappointment. The building is gorgeous in the public spaces, but the rooms are rundown, poorly decorated, and poorly appointed. The whole hotel has a vibe of being designed and run by someone who heard someone else talk about a 5-star hotel once but has never actually been in one themselves. You can see what they’re going for, but they’re missing what really makes it 5-star. There is no attention to detail in design or maintenance or service. A high-end chain hotel would likely offer a much better experience. The area is also pretty rough. Very nice hotels with interesting history, perfect location, walking distance to Olympic Park, aquarium and the world of Coca-Cola, room is cozy and clean. The lobby restaurant is a little cold though, other than that everything is good. 

My stay at The Candler Hotel was good overall- nothing spectacular, but not bad either. The room itself was comfortable, especially the bed, and the bathroom was spacious and well laid out, which I appreciated. One downside was how dark the room felt; even with all the lights on, it never really felt bright enough. At check-in, I wasn’t recognized for my Hilton status and had to ask about what amenities were included, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel is located downtown, so there was some noise, though that’s understandable given the location. We had breakfast at By George and used the Diamond credit, which was a nice perk. The food and service there were excellent and definitely a highlight of the stay. Overall, it’s a solid option if you want to be in the heart of downtown Atl

I cannot say enough about this hotel! From the staff at the door welcoming guests! Jerome was exceptional! Then the delicious hot chocolate in the reception! The hotel was so beautiful, I couldn’t stop taking pictures. The room was cleaned daily, I have never felt such amazing care! Don’t miss this hotel.
