Me and my wife have stayed at several hotels over the years this is definitely one of our favorites... The atmosphere is amazing and the staff super helpful and friendly...
Definitely did not look like the photos! I’d say that was a total bait & switch. We were expecting a ‘newly renovated’ room. The first room they put us in was not that, heavy smoke hung in the air & the furnishings, gross! The front desk lady was kind and found us a room that was just okay. Everything about the room was cheap; paint, lighting, furnishings, etc. It was nothing like the photos. We should have taken our own photos. We were there to sleep & then move on. The bed was comfortable and that’s a huge win. Would we stay here again? Probably not
Our truck was being worked on in Amarillo and we needed a place to stay. This place was recommended and it did not disappoint! From the moment we were picked up in the free shuttle to when we were taken back to our truck, everything was great! The service was top notch, the front desk staff was always very friendly and very helpful. Our room was newly renovated and was very nice and the bed was comfortable. There is so much to do at the hotel. Thank you all for making our unexpected stay a lot less stressful. It was truly appreciated.
Eclectic hotel and unique experience. The staff were very nice and my daughter enjoyed the ambiance. It’s very family friendly! The bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Our room was facing the back parking lot. Hotel could use major updates. When we arrived there was some water leak/issue which caused our toilet to kit flush slowly. Thankfully it was resolved within a few hours. Good for an overnight but I wouldn’t have stayed longer than a few days. The free breakfast was basic- bread, toast, donut and juice, coffee, tea, etc. They also had make your own waffles. The lady making the $7 breakfast was nice. You can buy various egg/sausage plates. Hotel also had cool places to sit/take pictures.
HOT BREAKFAST IS NOT FREE!! HOT BREAKFAST IS NOT FREE!! HOT BREAKFAST IS NOT FREE!! The hotel itself is quite nice. The rooms are spacious, clean beds, and does not look like it came from the '90s. There is a very large indoor pool, a kids play area, a small area for movies on Fridays and Saturdays, and a large area to eat breakfast. There is also a bar on site that has live music and cheap alcohol. But again, the hot breakfast you must pay for. Unfortunately, that is my main point when going on travels is not having to pay for breakfast in the morning (large family, save money). When you have a family of four, this time with extended family making it eight, $7 a person with eight people was an addition to our budget we did not expect. The hot food is also not cooked fresh. They have the
