Scenic Valley RV Park

Was looking for a quick overnight stay close to highway I would be accessing early following morning. Stayed on a Friday night when many larger parks on major Amarillo highways were fully booked. Had trouble getting on website (due to my poor connection locale at time) so called and reached park owner who was very service oriented and most helpful. Sent me direct paylink and once paid, received site #, directions, etc in very professional and visual package presentation. When arrived, easily found site with connections and facilities efficiently laid out on easy pull through site with high quality flat surface and nice high wood fencing between sites for comfort and security. We just stayed over night on a drive from Texas to Colorado and were looking for a nice spot to break up the drive. It is a bit off the highway but that can be a big plus to be away from that noise. The sites are very large by the typical RV campground standard with wood fence dividers and some grass. Utilities all worked great. Site was almost level. Just had to use one set of blocks. No big deal. WiFi was even fast enough to stream Netflix. We are light sleepers and the trains are a bit annoying but not their fault.

We spent 6 days at the park and it rained a lot the first few days. The drainage is good and it dried out pretty fast. The lots are very nice sized and the utilities are top notch. And the WiFi is great... no problem streaming movies. We had a chance to use the showers and laundry and they are very nice too. When we are back in the Amarillo and Canyon area, this is where we will stay. The rates are awesome especially for the large spaces. There is some train noise, but we hardly noticed it. The owner is super responsive to any questions. One thing we REALLY liked is we had about an 8 X 8 patch of grass in our space to take our dogs to for their business. Not having to walk across the park late at night was priceless! Thank you Steve and Nadia!

We enjoyed our stay at Scenic Valley. Steve was great! We were able to call and get a spot without any difficult. Our spot was level and clean. Our pups really appreciated the grass inside our spot. Each spot has a privacy fence as well, such a nice touch! Thanks for a great stay!

We onlybstayed 1 night on an overnight drive back home and I would recommend this for anyone looking to stop for a night or two. Each lot is very big and has a privacy fence between the neighbors and has its own spot of lush grass and place to put some chairs and table out. The full hook up worked great and the wifi was fast enough that we were streaming a show to watch without degradation. Check in was super easy and the text with the map that they send with all the instructions was excellent. More campgrounds should do this! There a nice grassy area for kids and dogs to run around but that's a about it. There is a train track that is used all day and night. They blast their horn every hour of the day and night. We used ear plugs and did get sleep while it was going thru. Kind of unf
