Big Texan RV Ranch

Convenient on and off I40. We have stayed here multiple times. The staff is always friendly. The sites are always well maintained and spacious. We like the van service to the Big Texan. It is a great convenience not to drive to a restaurant after a long days travel. The reservation and check in process is very simple. We also like being escorted to our site since it is a large property.

Stayed in a wagon. They are climate controlled, but no TV. I am perfectly fine with no TV, but if you need a room with one these may not be for you. The private bathhouse is conveniently located near the wagons and are very clean. I personally enjoyed my stay, would 💯 do it again.

I can't express how great of a stop this was for us. We've been here before one time for just a night and had a great experience. We were traveling across country this time and a huge winter storm hit. We planned on staying the night and ended up staying needing to stay 4 nights for the storm to pass. Andy took us to Walmart to pick up a heated blanket just to be helpful. Natalia at the front desk was so sweet and helped us get into a cabin our last night as it was -15 and she knew we had young kids. We had been cooped up for 3 nights and the extra space was so nice for us and the kiddos. Everything was very clean and taken care of. They had bagels and coffee every morning. Whether you’re staying just for a night or settling in for a few, this place has you covered. Let’s start with the VIP treatment for your furry travel companions: there are a couple of dog parks that are basically doggy playgrounds. Your pups might start thinking this trip is actually for them. And the RV spots themselves are a dream: nice, flat concrete pads that barely need any leveling at all. You can roll in and basically be set up faster than you can say “Where’d I put the chocks?” The scenery is just as lovely, with little touches like picnic tables, hammocks for lounging, and twinkling lights that make the evening

Great stay at this RV park! Friendly staff and everything is very clean and well kept. A western theme with covered wagon cabins that you can stay in as well as nice standard cabins as well. Nice campsite grounds layout with some having concrete pads. Free coffee and bagels in the morning. Grabbed some propane there as well. We’ll be back to this one for sure…
